William Brown

William L. Brown, 70 years young, a resident of Henning, Minnesota, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. He was born October 3, 1937, in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Earl and Margie (Turner) Brown. He grew up and attended school in Michigan. Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1958 in Europe and the United States. He had a deep respect and love for his country and our Lord. On December 8, 1972 he married Deborah Carlisle, and they shared a wonderful life for 35 years. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Cindy, from a previous marriage and their son, Morgan. They were blessed with a daughter-in-law in 2007 with Morgan's marriage to Amber Steininger. They moved to Minnesota in 1992 and he was the Business Office Manager at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls from 1992 ? 2002. He held previous positions in hospitals in Detroit and Port Huron, Michigan. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. Preceding him in death were his father, Earl Brown, mother, Margie Brown, and his daughter, Cindy Brown, who died in 1998. Survivors include his wife, Deborah of Henning, and a son and daughter-in-law, Morgan and Amber Brown of Wadena. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
