Wesley Wayne Oak

Wesley Wayne Oak, 71, a resident of Park Rapids, MN, died Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids.

Wesley was born on January 24, 1945, in Wadena, MN, the son of Edward and Edith (Harris) Oak. He attended school in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1964.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working with his hands and spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Walter and Edward; sisters, Bertha Oak, Lillie Webb, Othelia “Tillie” Erlandson and Dorothy Paler.

Survivors include his children, Sheryl Oak of Shakopee, MN, Sheila (Jeff) Tourek of Dallas, TX, Nickolas (Jenna) Oak of Zimmerman, MN, Dayton Oak of Ham Lake, MN, Kourtney Oak of Fridley, MN; grandchildren, Lee Tourek, Sophia Tourek, Taylor Town, Elizabeth Hurst, Braelyn Oak, Raegen Oak; and sister, Doris (Mervin) Martin of Sunburg, MN.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home
Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday September 21, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home
