Warren C. Johnson, 89, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.
Warren was born December 20, 1933 to William A. and Helen (Hazen) Johnson in Fergus Falls. He attended school in Fergus Falls, graduating from Fergus Falls Senior High School.
He was employed by International Harvester, he also remodeled homes, apartment buildings, and hotels.
On July 4, 2009 Warren married Virginia Fronning in Fergus Falls.
He was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls and the Eagles.
Warren enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William A. and Helen H. Johnson.
Warren is survived by his wife, Virginia Fronning of Fergus Falls; his children, Kristi (Michael) Seibert of The Villages, FL, Kathi Johnson of Minneapolis, and Kyle Johnson of Stillwater, and grandchildren, Stacy (Kevin) McMahon of Annandale, VA, Stephanie Tomhave of Richmond, VA, Maryn Johnson of Madison, WI, and Griffin Johnson of Stillwater. He is also survived by Virginia’s family, Michael (Sheila), Carrie, Katrina (Travis), Megan, Cody, Jeremy, and Levi, and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Griffin, and Bennet.
A private graveside service will be held at South Friborg Cemetery, rural Fergus Falls.
