Terry Alan Fleming, 64, a resident of Battle Lake, MN, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Battle Lake Good Samaritan Center.
He was born on February 18, 1954, to Lawrence Raymond and Selma Vivian Fleming in Fergus Falls, MN. Terry graduated from high school in Mt. Vernon, OR, and later went on to attend Detroit Lakes Technical College, graduating in 1995.
Terry was employed as a truck driver, as well as doing road construction. Terry survived a major accident and still went on to raise 3 children as a single father. He was a man of the trades and a teacher of wisdom. Terry also avidly loved his dogs as well as collecting marbles. He was a hero to many, but a father to a very fortunate few.
Terry loved horses and worked as a trainer and breeder. He loved the West, and enjoyed ice-fishing, dogs, Hot Rods, and decoupage.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Lawrence and Selma Fleming; ex-wife, Vikie Rhea; sisters, Susan Anderson, Peggy Honrud; life-love, Susan Brown; and K9 companion, Sam.
Survivors include his children, Josh and Jeremy Rhea, Evan (Heidi) Fleming, Matthew (April) Fleming, Amber Fleming, Mara Chaykin; grandchildren, Willow, Kloie, Dillon, Piper, Terrance, Kale, Jesslin, Kegan, Korbin, Nicholas, Madelyn, Corbin, Griffin, Charlotte, Natalie, Lillian, Ivan, Solomon; sister, Linda Sellman; and K9 Companion, Penny.
A private family service will be held.
