Taylor Robert Long, 26, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, April 11, 2019.
Taylor was born November 22, 1992, in Fergus Falls to A. Robert Long Jr. and Vicki (Lothspeich) Long. He attended school in Fergus Falls and graduated in 2011. Taylor worked at Walmart for five and a half years working his way up to customer service manager. He made many friends and was well-liked by customers and co-workers at Walmart.
Taylor was kind, gentle, welcoming and he was always thinking about others. Especially when it came to gifts, he always picked the perfect gifts to make us smile and laugh. He enjoyed gaming, building computers, cooking, and trying new foods. Taylor loved family and friends and made sure he took extra time for his niece and nephews. Taylor’s youngest nephews loved when he would act liked a kid with them. His older nephews loved learning new things from Taylor about video games, life, and history. Taylor’s niece especially loved trying exotic foods with her uncle. For Christmas, he would often buy exotic foods to try with his niece and nephews including snails, tarantula, fish eggs, crickets, scorpion, octopus, etc. He often offered a cash incentive for his niece and nephews to try exotic foods. As a kid Taylor loved fishing, catching turtles (Mach 5), worms and snakes.
Taylor is preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Delores (Rapske) Lothspeich and Grace (Leaptrot) Long.
