Tami Pederson

Tami Jo Pederson, 29, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota. She was born May 12, 1983, in Wheaton, Minnesota, the daughter of Dale and Brenda (Bates) Wilts. She grew up in Herman, graduating from Herman High School in 2001. She then attended MSCTC Moorhead, where she graduated from the Dental Assistant program in 2003. She worked as a Dental Assistant in Fargo for a year, and for the past nine years has worked with Dr. Craig Rude in Fergus Falls. On June 5, 2010, she married Trent Pederson at Sverdrup Lutheran Church. They made their home in Fergus Falls. She loved to clean and was always prepared for everything. Through the years she was the caretaker and maintained Dad’s house as the family home, and aspired to be a gardener. Tami has always been there to help with the buying of presents for Dad to give for Christmas and birthday, watching her nieces and nephews, and running errands for everyone, and never complained. It was in her blood to always take care of everyone and everything. The three men in her life, Trent, Jace, and her Dad, meant the world to her and she would do anything and did everything for them. In the last day of her life, with all that she was going through, she continued to be a caretaker making sure that her and Trent’s son Jace was safe and would make it into this world unharmed. She was so special to so many people and touched their lives whether they knew her or not, as she gave life to people she didn’t even know. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Vern and Gertie Wilts. Survivors include her husband, Trent and her son, Jace Jo, of Fergus Falls; her father, Dale Wilts of Herman; her mother, Brenda Wilts of Fargo; two sisters: Nicole (James) Bowman of Aberdeen, SD, and Jamie (Scott) Bertram of Herman; nieces and nephews: Morgan and Brayden Bowman, Makayla and Hayley Bertram, Wyatt, Hunter, and Kaden Bosek, and Riley and Spencer Pederson; and her grandparents, Don and Marilyn Bates of Fargo, ND. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m., and resumes one hour prior to the service at the Herman High School.
