Sylvia C. B. Schnoor, 90, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
She was born December 19, 1921 in Brookings, South Dakota, the daughter of Albert and Marie (Gustafson) Ramse. She attended school in Brookings and Sioux Falls, South Dakota before moving to Minnesota where she graduated from Tintah High School in 1939.
On October 1, 1941, she married Walter Schnoor in Spirit Lake, Iowa. After their marriage they resided south of Foxhome and south of Fergus Falls for a time before moving to their farm north of Foxhome. In 1987 they moved into Foxhome. After her husband died, Sylvia moved to the Page House in Fergus Falls, and most recently had resided at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Over the years Sylvia was employed at the River Inn Coffee Shop and Swift Company. She also provided day care for numerous families throughout the Foxhome area.
She was a member of Foxhome Lutheran Church where she participated in WELCA.
Sylvia enjoyed quilting at church, wintering in Texas, and playing cards and bingo. She loved old dishes and collected cups and saucers from all over the world.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter; three brothers: Alvin, Marvin and LeRoy; and a sister, Hazel, in infancy.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Cleon) Cermak of New Leipzig, North Dakota; four grandchildren: Ladine Renner, Laren Schuster, Cindy Kottre, and Ashley Cermak; six great-grandchildren: Corey, Cayla, Crystal, Steven, Lauren, and Marley; a sister, Ardell (Arnold) Korbel; sisters-in-law, Shirley (James) Score and Helen Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Foxhome Lutheran Church, Foxhome, MN.

Burial: Burau Cemetery, rural Foxhome, MN
