Scott W. Engen, 49, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Ridgewood Home in Fergus Falls.

He was born on April 8, 1965, in Crookston, the son of Dorothy Elliott and LeVerne (Lee) Engen.

Scott was an inspiration to all of his friends and everyone that worked with him. His warm smile and happy disposition left a lasting impression on everyone that came into contact with him. He was an avid Twins fan and enjoyed watching all the games, but most of all, Scott loved spending time with loved ones. Scott’s love for family and friends will be greatly missed.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Richard.

Scott is survived by his brothers, Douglas (Debrah) Engen and Miles (Chris) Engen; nieces and nephews, Dana (Abby) Engen, David (Justine) Engen, Damian Engen, Daniella Engen, Ashley (Josh) Sands, Lisa Engen; grand nieces and nephew, Violet Engen, Zeus Engen and Megan Caywood; special family including staff and residents at Ridgewood Home in Fergus Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go to Lakeland Hospice Foundation in Fergus Falls or Special Olympics.
