Roxie Bachmann, 63, of Sebeka, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Woodland Lodge Hospice House in Fergus Falls surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Roxie was born March 28, 1950, the daughter of Robert and Opal Pilgrim of Fergus Falls. Roxie grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1968. Roxie had dedicated her life career to caring for those in need, working at the Fergus Falls State Hospital for more than 20 years and later caring for disabled adults in a group home.
Roxie was an avid gardener, loyal friend, gentle caregiver, and truly cherished her time with her granddaughter.
Roxie is survived by her son, Christopher Larson (Shannon); her granddaughter, Kelsy; her sisters, Sandy Larson (Mark), and Betty Lou Bartz (Lowell); her brother, Gayle Beecher; and her special friend, Richard Weappa.
Private family services are planned.
