Roxanne "Tess" Sundblad

Roxanne “Tess” Marie Sundblad, 64, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.

She was born March 12, 1949, in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. She grew up there graduating from Elbow Lake High School in 1967. She later received her LPN degree from the Fergus Falls Community College in 1985. She was employed for 25 years as an LPN at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.

Tess was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking, and gardening, but especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always a caregiver. She loved anything with a dragonfly on it. Her nickname was Thunder.

Survivors include her sons, Josh Sundblad (Tahirih Field) of Fargo, ND and Adam Sundblad of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Ashton, Sydney and Khloe; friends, Debbie Marquard, her friend of 36 years, and Jaime Bengston and Bailley, her faithful dog.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls
