Roma Bernice Lenhart, 94, of Fergus Falls, formerly a long-time resident of Star Lake, rural Dent, passed away at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
She was born in Ironton, on July 10, 1924, to Bernard and Lillian (Lillis) Gladback and grew up in rural Richville.
Roma married the love of her life, Stanford J. Lenhart in 1944, at her parent’s farmstead, rural Richville. They moved many times before settling down in the rural Dent area. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was very proud of her family and was excited to become a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She was a dedicated hard worker throughout her life from the homestead farm by Richville to the Pelican Rapids Turkey Plant for 30 years and cleaning cabins after her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, canning and baking and was an avid seamstress, with patch quilting being her true passion. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Perham and dedicated her time to helping others.
Roma was the beloved wife of the late Stanford J. Lenhart. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Stan Jr. (Colleen) Lenhart of Mazeppa, MN. Allen Lenhart of Surprise, AZ, David (Jeanne) Lenhart of Tieton, WA and Karen Stewart. Her grandchildren include, Michael (Robin) Stewart, Kelly (Terri) Stewart, Shannon (Jeff) Hunter, Chad Lenhart, Michelle (Phil) Korbakes, Ryan (Andrea) Lenhart, Lavinia (Ryan) Robinson, and Ronnie (Patty) Lenhart. great-grandchildren include Zach Stewart, Jaki Stewart, Tricia Hanson, Derek (April) Hanson, Amalia Lenhart, Michael Kitt, Sassan Kitt, Amalia Lenhart, Isaiah Robinson, Zakia Robinson, and Annalee Rae Robinson, and three great-great-grandchildren, Lilly Grace Schmidt, Ezra Kitt, and Suri Kitt.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Stanford; daughter, Karen B. Stewart; granddaughter, Brenda Lenhart; grandson, Sean Scott Stewart; great-grandson, Scott Drew Stewart; brother, Milo Gladback; sister, Audrey Gladback and her parents, Bernard and Lillian Gladback.
Roma was known for her feisty yet somewhat good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls
