Roger Jorgenson

Roger Owen Jorgenson, 66, of Rothsay, died July 16, 2024, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Roger was born January 3, 1958, in Fergus Falls, to Edward and Doris (Weik) Jorgenson. He attended country school and graduated from Rothsay High School.

He was employed with Flaten Insulation for many years, Rothsay Elevator and most recently he did farm work around the area.

Roger loved hunting, fishing and playing cards. He photographed beautiful scenic pictures which will be cherished.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Debbie; father, Edward; brother, Steve; and nephew, Shane.

Roger is survived by his children, Blake, JoBeth (Josh) Holte and Betsy (Tim) McNeil; grandchildren, Owen, Jadyn, Payton, Jonathan and Chase; mother, Doris; siblings, Lee, Paul (Lori) and Sandy; sister-in-law, Deb; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In true Roger fashion the family asks that you dress casually.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2024, at Olson Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Fergus Falls with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Clergy: Reverend Randy Whitehead

Interment: Private family burial at Hamar Cemetery, rural Rothsay, MN
