Robin Marie Anderson, 56, of rural Richville, Minnesota, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at her home under the care of family and Red River Valley Hospice. She was born September 27, 1954, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Clifford and Darlene (Pederson) Ouse. She attended Rothsay High School, graduating in 1972, and then attended North Dakota State University. On May 5, 1972, she married Randy Anderson in Rothsay. Over the years Robin was employed as a nurse’s assistant, an East Otter Tail Dairy Herd milk tester, and worked at Swedberg Nursery, Lake Country Garden Nursery, and Nature’s Garden World. She also raised hydroponic tomatoes for local sale. In her free time Robin enjoyed gardening, bird watching, sewing, baking, reading, and walks in the woods with her dogs. Preceding her in death were her mother, Darlene Ouse, her brother, Todd Ouse, and her mother-in-law, Lucille Anderson. Survivors include her husband, Randy Anderson of Richville; two daughters: Jill (Troy) Christensen of Zimmerman, MN, and Sara (Jason) Krumwiede of Richville, MN; two grandchildren: Haley Christensen and Nathen Christensen of Zimmerman, MN; her father, Clifford Ouse of Fargo, ND; her sister, Connie (Dewey) Grunewald of West Fargo, ND; her brother, Craig (Sandy) Ouse of Rothsay, MN; her father-in-law, Russell Anderson of Rothsay, MN; and her brother-in-law, Rod (Gen Austin) Anderson of Fergus Falls, MN. A memorial gathering will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011, with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls. Memorials are preferred to The Otter Tail County Humane Society, Feral Cats of Otter Tail County, or Glendalough State Park. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
