Robert Roberts

Robert Richard Roberts, 73 of Battle Lake, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Robert "Bob" was born on February 22, 1951 in St. Paul, MN to Father Richard Burton Roberts and Vivian Mae (Christensen). Bob was the second oldest of five siblings. He graduated in 1969 from Mounds View High School followed two years of studies at Bethel College. He decided to continue his family tradition and work full-time on the family hog farm located in Hugo, MN.

In 1973 Bob married Lucille Marie Reiling and had two daughters before moving to their now farm located north of Battle Lake, MN. They then welcomed two sons into the family and in the next 46 years they grew their farm into the now prosperous Amor Pork, including a retail store that features their pork products for sale to the public.

Bob was known for his incredible unwavering faith, his giving heart and honest business integrity. Most of all, Bob loved to sing! And rarely missed a Sunday to sing in either the choir or with the Praise Team.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lucy; his daughters, Rachel (Michael) Copeland and Nora Roberts; sons, Eric (Tamara) and Brian (Jenny) Roberts; eight beautiful grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; mother, Vivian, and sister, Jean Cummings.

Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church of Amor, Battle Lake, MN with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment: Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Amor, MN
