Robert James Regnier, 59, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at his home. He was born April 12, 1948, in Marshall, Minnesota, the son of John and Erma (Gade) Regnier. He attended St. Eloi Catholic School in Ghent, Minnesota, and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Marshall in 1966. He graduated from Canby Vocational College in 1968 with a degree in Small Engines. On July 6, 1969, he married Bonnie Buttemeier in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He farmed in Marshall, Minn. and Marcus, Iowa. He was employed as an auto mechanic in Marshall, and then worked for Spee-Dee Delivery in Marshall and Fergus Falls. From 1969 - 1971 he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Robert loved the outdoors, camping, flying, and woodworking. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his son, Michael Regnier of Mesa, Arizona; his brothers: John Regnier of Marshall, Greg Regnier of Waconia, and Dan Regnier of Spencer, Iowa; sisters: Paulette (Kirk) Hansen and Jeanne Regnier, both of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: 8 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls. Officiants: Father Bob Kieffer and Sister Joyce Leibly
