Robert Krensing

Robert W. Krensing, III, 34, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, December 24, 2009 as a result of a car accident.  Robert was born on January 8, 1975 in Graceville, the son of Richard and Dianne (Schwagel) Krensing. He attended Beardsley Valley High School and graduated in 1993. After high school he continued his education at N.D.S.C.S in Wahpeton completing his degree in auto mechanics in 1995. On June 15, 1996 he married Keli Griess at Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. The couple resided in Fergus Falls where he worked at several area businesses, including Northern Contours, Tri-State Tire, Heikes Advance Auto. In 2007 he began working at Minnesota Motors and was currently employed there. He was a member of the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Uninvitieds Car Club. He enjoyed cars, attending car shows and bowling. His passion in life was spending time with his wife, daughters and family. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Norbert and Esther Schwagel; paternal grandfather Robert Krensing, Sr.; uncle, Robert Krensing II; uncle, Kenneth Schwagel and aunt, Judy Schwagel. Survivors include his wife, Keli; three daughters, Allison, Kaitlyn and Myia all of Fergus Falls; father, Richard (Bev) Krensing of Browns Valley; mother, Dianne Krensing of Wahpeton; sister, Kim (Todd) Kaufman of Webster, SD and their children, Emily, Ella, Emari; grandmother, Alice Krensing of Browns Valley; in-laws, Sheldon and Helen Griess of Park Rapids; brother-in-law, Kirk (Keri) Griess of Vacaville, CA and their children, Kadi, Kaci and Kole; sisters-in-law, Kari (Jason) Richter of West Fargo and their children, Radin and Landis; Kaye (Steve) Soderberg of Park Rapids and their son, Jackson; grandfather-in-law, Tony Griess of Park Rapids. Also survived by numerous aunt, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Visitation:   5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with a public prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
