Robert Hexum

Robert M. Hexum, 69, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, in Alexandria. He was born May 21, 1940, in Rothsay, Minnesota, the son of Melvin and Gunda (Wee) Hexum. He graduated from Rothsay High School and entered the Army. On August 20, 1960, he married Joyce Swank in Cleveland, Ohio. Bob was a Mechanical Contracting Project Manager, spending most of his career managing projects at Lewis Research Center (NASA) where he was very highly respected. Survivors include his sons, Robert Jr. of Fergus Falls, and Mark (Sherri) and grandsons Blake and Brandon of Peoria, IL; sisters Carol Anderson of Fergus Falls, and Kay (Arnie) Moen of Rothsay; and three brothers, Myron (JoAnn) Hexum of Rothsay, Richard (Carolyn) Hexum of Eugene, Oregon, and Harold (Barbara) Hexum of Fergus Falls. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brother, Errol.
