Robert “Rob” A. Adams, 44, a resident of rural Underwood, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at his home of a heart attack in his sleep. He was born November 6, 1967, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the son of Laddie Joe and Llewellyn Adams. He grew up in the Underwood area, where he attended school, graduating from Underwood High School in 1986. He attended the DeVri Institute of Technology from 1986-1987, the Glendale, Arizona Computer Learning Center, and the Glendale Community College where he took courses over the years He was employed by Qwest Communications as a network technician, with Nextel/Sprint in Honolulu, Hawaii, with Erickson Electronics in Fergus Falls from 2008-2009, and was the owner of Ranasound in Phoenix, Arizona. Robert was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in his youth. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, and involved in several professional organizations. He enjoyed bowling, working out, and loved working in Honolulu and living “where the weather stays in the 70’s and 80’s”. His main interest was in pursuing his love of music through audio engineering. Preceding him in death was his father, Laddie J. Adams. Survivors include his mother, Llewellyn Adams of Underwood, MN, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorials are preferred to the Diabetes Association or St. James Episcopal Church.
