Rachel Jaeger, 44, of rural Fergus Falls, died Monday, January 11, 2016, at Lake Region Healthcare, Fergus Falls.
She was born December 27, 1971, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Gary and Nancy (Tchida) Seeck. She attended schools in Fergus Falls, graduating in 1990. Following high school, Rachel attended Fergus Falls Community College and attained a CNA degree.
On June 13, 1991, she married Scott Douglas Jaeger at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. She has been employed at Telnet, Walmart and the Minnesota Veterans Home, all in Fergus Falls.
Rachel was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a Sunday School teacher, where she loved little children and they loved her in return. She was The #1 Bowling For Soup fan, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, photography, camping trips, zoos, elephants, fishing, floating on the lake, and animals, especially her bulldogs, Oliver and Miller, and guinea pigs, Gus, Mark, Ingvor, and Isador. She had a giving heart and blessed everyone around her.
Preceding her in death were her father, Gary Seeck and her grandparents, Arthur & Alice (Hanson) Seeck and Duane Tchida.
Survivors include her husband, Scott and children, Nancy, Hana and Kate Jaeger all of Fergus Falls; her mom, Nancy Seeck of Edwards; her grandma, Shirley Tchida of Mora; her mother and father-in-law, Robert and Avanelle Jaeger of Fergus Falls; the “Wootons”, which included her BFFs, Kim Carlson and Suzette Wasvick and the residents she worked with, whom she loved.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls
