Rachel Baland

Rachel Helen Baland, 31, a resident of Windom, Minnesota, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, of natural causes at Windom Area Hospital in Windom.  She was born January 24, 1977, in Long Prairie, Minnesota, the daughter of Timothy and Carol  Baland. She resided at Home for Creative Living in Windom where she received outstanding care and love from those who tended to all her needs. Rachel will be greatly missed by all those who chose to become close to her. Survivors include her parents, Timothy J. and Carol Baland of Battle Lake, and two brothers, Timothy and Torger. The Glory of the Angels Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2008 at St. James Catholic Church in Maine, Minnesota with Father LeRoy Schik officiating. Visitation begins at the church at 10 a.m. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
