Phyllis Taylor Clark

Phyllis “Phil” Clarice Taylor Clark, 62, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Monday, September 30, 2013, at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.

She was born January 23, 1951, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Elmore F. and Gertrude (Reynolds) Gray. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1969. She was married to Fred Taylor for 14 years.

On February 17, 1987 she married Bert Clark in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Phyllis was a stay-at-home wife and mother, worked as a waitress and CNA, and started school to become a nurse.

She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and a member of First United Church of Christ.

Phyllis loved babysitting her great-grandchildren, playing games, spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, puzzles, her puppies, and cooking and baking. Christmas was her favorite time of year because she had her whole family together.

Preceding her in death were a granddaughter, Coral Goulet; her parents, Elmore and Gertrude Gray; a brother, Charles Flugel; and her father-in-law, Cecil Clark.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Bert Clark of Fergus Falls; her children: Amber (Mike) Leuthardt, Jade (Rick) Goulet, Mark (Jenny) Taylor, and Jason Clark all of Fergus Falls; her mother-in-law, Isabelle Clark of Fergus Falls; her grandchildren: Zach (Tonia) Leuthardt, Oceanside CA, Danielle (John) Sorenson, Fergus Falls, Chelsie (Austin) Leuthardt, Wheaton MN, Andrew Taylor, Ft. Benning GA, Brianna (Pasha) Leuthardt, Casey and Ashten Taylor, and Atlanta Goulet, all of Fergus Falls; great-grandchildren: Ava and Brecken Leuthardt, Oceanside CA, and Tahmor Boyce and Maddisen Sorenson of Fergus Falls; brother Bill Reynolds of California; Chris (Galen) Derosier, Buddy Reynolds and Carla Sheline, Joan (Ron) Oras, Carol (Don) Phipps, Mel (Vickie) Clark, Wayne (Cheri) Clark, Chris Arntson, Eileen (Randy) Kirkwood, Brenda Clark, Lori (Andy) McWhirter; and many nieces, nephews, friends; and her beloved Lady.

Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and resumes one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls
