Peter Lindquist Peter Andrew Lindquist, 37, a resident of rural Fergus Falls, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on May 25, 1970, in Fergus Falls, the son of Andy and Jeanette (Wold) Lindquist. Peter attended Underwood Public Schools, graduating in 1988. He also attended Fergus Falls Community College. Peter was a past president of the Dalton Lion's Club, Dane Prairie Township Supervisor, and a lifetime baptized and confirmed member of the Tordenskjold Lutheran Church in rural Underwood. For 12 years, Peter was employed at Lake Region Hospital. He enjoyed his job and treasured his longtime friendships with his co-workers. He retired in 2000 due to health reasons. Peter devoted his entire life to his family and friends. He found much happiness in spending time with his devoted nephews Cody and Kyle, two of the greatest joys in his life. He also loved farming the land with his Uncle Jr. Peter was a 22 year kidney transplant survivor! He never took life for granted and celebrated it with friends, neighbors and family with his annual "PETERFEST". With these special "Celebrations of Life", Peter taught so many people how to live everyday that God gives us to its fullest. In death, he joins his Mom and Dad (Jeanette and Andy Lindquist), his Grandma and Grandpa Wold (Ole and Agnes) and Grandma and Grandpa Lindquist (Inez and Harry Sr.). Survivors include his Loving and Dedicated Sister, Joyce and Wonderful Brother-in-law, Joe Anderson, two very Special Nephews, Cody and Kyle Anderson, all of rural Fergus Falls; his two life-long Best Friends, Mike Mark and Kelly Moore, Godchildren Courtney Mark, Chloe Mark and Slade Moore, and other special neighborhood children. Also surviving are four Aunts: Doris (Willis) Schoening, Hope (Harlan) Johnson, Alice Aanden, all of Fergus Falls and Eunice Wold of Ulen; three Uncles, Harry Jr. (Kathy) Lindquist of rural Fergus Falls, John (Michelle) Lindquist of rural Dalton and Carl Johnson of Fergus Falls, along with numerous cousins and a host of special friends and neighbors.
