Paul Svendsgaard

Paul David Svendsgaard, 53, of Fergus Falls, passed away at his home on November 12, 2011, due to medical complications. A lifelong resident of Fergus Falls, he graduated from Fergus Falls Senior High School in 1976. After High School, Paul worked as a printer and general contract painter for 15 years, and later worked at the Fergus Falls Daily Journal as Assistant Pressman for 13 years. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was a gifted artist, and loved playing his guitar. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, and playing video games. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, James and Idella Svendsgaard, and brothers, Scott and Richard. Surviving his death are his siblings: Larry (Doreen) Svendsgaard of Fredericksburg, VA, Dale (B.J.) Svendsgaard of Fergus Falls, Marybeth Potts of Wheaton, MN, Roger (Rachael) Svendsgaard and Kristi Ulland of Fergus Falls. He was well loved by his nine nieces and nephews, and eight great-nieces and nephews. In memory of Paul’s life you are welcome to attend a graveside service which will be held at Tonseth Lutheran Cemetery, rural Erhard, on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
