He returned home to work with his father, Joseph Peterson, at the First National Bank of Battle Lake. He was the loving father of Lisa, David, and Katy. In later years Paul’s sensitivity showed in his works of visual art as well as his poetry, some of which is exhibited at the Cancer Care and Research Center in Fergus Falls. His sister, Joanne Cress, fondly remembers their daily visits about art and shared spiritual readings. Following is one of Paul’s poems: Misty Morning A misty morning aura prevails throughout the land. A masterpiece, you can be sure, by the Great One’s loving hand. A pleasant time to rise and shine–begin another day. A reminder too, ‘fore day is through, to bow your head and pray. Paul Peterson, 2012 Per Paul’s wishes, no services will be held.
