Patrick J. Burley, 56, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at his home under the care of Lakeland Hospice. He was born April 21, 1954, in Siletz, Oregon, the son of Theodore and Violet Burley. He attended Fergus Falls High School. On July 15, 1988, he married Debbie White in Glenn Lake, Minnesota. Pat was a self-employed carpenter and handyman. Pat enjoyed playing pool, gardening, fishing, hunting, and video games, but what he enjoyed most of all was spending time with his family. Preceding him in death were his mother, Violet Burley, his nephew, Jason Kelm, his father-in-law, Duane White, and his grandparents, Jay and Lydia Burley. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Burley of Fergus Falls; three children: Rick Soder of Randall, Jackie (Mike) Lahr of Cushing, and Tim (Beth) Hendrickson of Texas; nine grandchildren: Tim Soder, Rikki Soder, Hayley Soder, Liberty Soder, Samantha Lahr, Madeline Lahr, Nicole Lahr, Wyatt Lahr, and Cassie Hendrickson; his father, Theodore Burley; his siblings: Theodore (Cathy) Burley II, Linda Burley (Mark Lee), and Mike (Mary) Burley; nieces: Cheryl Kelm-Engle, Annette Burley, Sophie Burley, Amy Burley, Michelle Burley, and Allaina Burley; and a nephew Theodore Burley III.
