Patricia McArthur

Patricia Mary McArthur, 84, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls. She was born August 14, 1926, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Murray) Brietenbauch. She grew up in Maine Township graduating from Underwood High School in 1940. She then attended business training in Moorhead. Patricia married Don McArthur in Moorhead.   She had two sons, Brian McArthur and Greg Walski. She worked for Great Plains Natural Gas Company for 25 years until her retirement. She entered the Broen Memorial Home in 2005. Pat was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and walking. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Don; a son, Brian; and an infant brother, Lawrence. Survivors include her son, Greg (Karen) Walski of Fargo; two grandsons, Aaron Walski of Fargo, and Matthew (Sara) Bydal of Grand Forks; a granddaughter, Abbey Walski of Horace; two sisters, Ellen Huson of Fargo, and LaVerne Anderson of Fergus Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
