Patricia Herigon

Patricia “Pat” Ann Herigon, 82, of Glenwood, Minnesota, and formerly of Marshall, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010, in Glenwood. Patricia Ann Graffunder was born April 1, 1928, in Marshall, Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Lola (Aust) Graffunder.  On February 28, 1946, she married Dalen “Day” Herigon. They lived around the Marshall area and finally in Marshall. Pat was a homemaker and also worked various jobs over the years. After Dalen retired they moved to Glenwood, MN. Pat loved to garden, sew, take long walks, spend time with her family, and was always ready to baby sit her grandchildren. She also loved to read, play cards, do jig saw puzzles, and was always up for a game of Yahtzee. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Day in 1990; her mother and father-in-law; her son-in-law, Michael Lanoue; her daughter-in-law, Michele (Shelly) Herigon; a great-grandson, Bryce Lanoue; and numerous other relatives. Survivors include her children: DiAnn Brown of Jacksonville, AR, Richard Herigon of Marshall, MN, Gary (Mary) Herigon of Glenwood, MN, Michael Herigon of Marshall, TX, and Jolene (Daryl) Tople of Underwood, MN; 18 grandchildren: Susan (Tom) Stack, Lynae Wood, Troy (Mandy) Wood, Shane (Susan) Wood, Bryan Brown, Jamie (Nate) Coleman, Brad (Ronda) Herigon, Bret (Amy) Herigon, Steve (Amber) Herigon, Dalen, Bob, and Tricia Herigon, Donnya, Sonjia and Matthew Herigon, Brent (Kirsten) Lanoue, Jessica (David) Moe, and Ryan (Alicia) Lanoue;  two stepgrandchildren, Tony and Brittany; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters Elizabeth Seiler, Charlene Roberts, and Nancy Woods; her brothers, William (Darlene) Graffunder and Myron (Nita) Graffunder; and numerous nieces and nephews. As per Pat’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. in the Calvary Cemetery in Glenwood, with Father Peter Kirchner officiating.
