Parker Kort

Dan and Tanya Kort announce the birth of their handsome angel, Parker Jase, born December 6, 2013 at 8:14 AM. He weighed 4 pounds and was 17 inches long. After being able to spend two glorious hours with Parker he went to be with Jesus and our lost loved ones. He stayed long enough to touch our hearts after battling an unpleasant diagnosis and although we were never able to hold him or be with him enough in this short period of time, we are so grateful to be blessed with the time we had. He could not have been loved more and now he is in heaven where he can be held and loved by our special angels and God. Parker Jase will always be in our hearts forever.

Parker is survived by his parents, Dan and Tanya (Hensch) Kort, as well as, his proud big brothers, Easton, Brennan and Becker all of Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, James Kort of rural Fergus Falls, Minnesota and his maternal grandparents, Sharon and Mike Casey and Blaine Hensch, all of rural Fergus Falls; his uncles and aunts, Justin Hensch of Moorhead, Minnesota, Alex Hensch, Morgan Hensch, and Malerie Kort all of Fergus Falls. He is also survived by numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and “framily” members. Parker is also survived by his paternal great-grandparents, Arvin and Geraldine Kort of rural Fergus Falls; maternal great-grandparents, Pete and Jean Kunz of Fergus Falls and Ed and Patricia Hensch of rural Campbell, Minnesota.

He is preceded in death by his great-uncle, Darren Kunz and his “uncle” Isaiah Anderson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls with Pastor Dave Foss officiating.
