Olga Irene Teberg, 97, a resident of Fergus Falls, entered her eternal home on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.
Olga was born on September 7, 1916, in Carlisle Township, the daughter of John and Ida (Schmidt) Hanson. She lived in the Erhard area all her married life and attended school in Fergus Falls.
On December 24, 1937, she married William “Bill” Teberg Jr. in Fergus Falls at First Evangelical and Reformed Church. To this union, five children were born; Richard, David, LaVonne, Robert and Larry. Olga was employed at Otter Tail County Jail for Henkes’s and was a wonderful housewife and mother.
Olga was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Circles, Women’s group homemakers and 4-H Clubs. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, baking, and ceramics. She especially enjoyed going to the lake and entertaining family.
She lived her life with great faith in the Lord and she loved everyone she knew. She was a very loving caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bill; sons, Richard, David and Robert; daughter-in-law, Loretta Teberg; grandchildren, Jason Teberg and Tracy Johnson; step-grandchildren, Tim and Mike Ruud; sisters, Doris Kvalheim, Elfreda Botts and Irene Anderson; brothers, Bob Hanson, Gordon Hanson, Donald Hanson and LeRoy Hanson; sisters-in-law, Beverly Hanson, Evelyn Hanson and Nancy Hanson; brothers-in-law, Pat Anderson, Al Schmidt, George Botts and Clifford Scott.
Deeply loved and sadly missed by her children, LaVonne (Don) Ruud, Larry (Rosalind) Teberg; daughters-in-law, Sharon Teberg and Doris Teberg; grandchildren, Kevin (Sandy) Watterud, Greg (Kim) Watterud, Tammy (Chuck) Anderson, Shelly (Mark) Walter, Darin (Dawn) Teberg, Lisa (Brian) Hage, Lynn (Don) Mabb, Scott (Sherry) Teberg, Rhonda (Johnny) Rakes and Michael Teberg; two step-grandchildren, Scott (Joyce) Ruud and Deb (Doug) Rapp; 23 great-grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren; 8 step great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Hanson and Lester Hanson; sisters, Lucille Schmidt and Violet Scott; brothers-in-law, Larry Kvalheim and Chuck Teberg; sisters-in-law, Hazel Evenson, Marjean Hanson, Pat Teberg and Dorothy Hanson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
