Noah Alan Moen, age 27, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 near Fergus Falls. He was born December 22, 1983 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the son of Joel and Kim (Anderson) Moen. He grew up in the area and attended school in Fergus Falls. He was baptized and confirmed at Stavanger Lutheran Church, rural Fergus Falls. Noah worked for various construction companies in the Fergus Falls and Perham area, including both residential and commercial construction. He was active in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in his youth. He was a member of Stavanger Lutheran Church. Noah enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, and spending time with his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Morris and Lillian Moen. Survivors include his parents, Joel Moen of Richville, and Kim Anderson-Moen of Fergus Falls; his grandparents: Darol and Allegra Anderson of Fergus Falls; his brothers: Shane Moen of Duluth, Judd (Rebecca McGowan) Moen of Fergus Falls, and Ethan (Karen DeCock) Moen of Perham; a nephew, Gage Moen of Fergus Falls; a niece, Hailey Moen of Fergus Falls; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stavanger Lutheran Church northeast of Fergus Falls with Reverend Brent Juliot officiating. There will be a private family interment at Stavanger Cemetery. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
