Naomi F. Johnson, 90, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She was born July 21, 1921, in Nidaros Township near Vining, Minnesota, the daughter of Martin E. and Gunda (Moen) Floen. She grew up on the farm, attending country school there. As a young woman she moved to Fergus Falls where she was a waitress at the Normandy Cafe. On May 31, 1947, she married Conrad Johnson in Henning, with Reverend Framstad officiating. The couple lived in Illinois for twelve years. In 1957 they moved to Fergus Falls. Naomi was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, and a past member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary. Preceding her in death were her husband, Conrad in 1999; her parents; four sisters: Amanda, Alma, Martha, and Ruth; and seven brothers: Thorfin, Tony, Obert, Mervin, David, Eugene, and Eddie Floen. She is survived by one sister, Gyda Quam of Fergus Falls, and numerous nieces and nephews.
