Nancy Seeba

Nancy Lynn Seeba, 50, a resident of rural Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, peacefully at her home.  She was born November 29, 1958, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Kenneth and Lillian (Washek) Jacobson. She attended school in Underwood with the Class of 1977, and then attended Fergus Falls Community College with an emphasis in Business. On May 31, 1975, she married Earl Seeba at the Tordenskjold Church, rural Underwood. They made their home in Aurdal Township. Over the years she worked at Fleet Farm, Champion Auto, H & R Block, and most recently at New Horizon Ag Services. She also worked with her husband at Seeba’s Shop. Nancy loved country music, camping, sewing, cooking, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was involved in many organizations, was a Firearm Safety instructor, and was a member of the Lake Country Mountaineers. She kept score for the West Central Speedway in Weetown. Nancy loved playing cards and made many loving friends in the league she played with.  More than anything, Nancy loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father, Kenneth, her brother, John, and a son, Alvin. Survivors include her husband, Earl Seeba of Fergus Falls; two daughters: Carla Eckley and her two children, Drew and Quinn, of Fergus Falls, and Amy Seeba (fiance` Mike Van Nevel) of St. Cloud; her mother, Lillian Jacobson of Fergus Falls; three sisters: Vicki (Gary) Jeppesen of Fergus Falls, Kathy (Scott) Greer of Eagan, and Julie (Greg) Kugler of Erhard; one brother, James Jacobson of Underwood; a sister-in-law, Marilyn (Larry) Dahl of Cross Lake; a brother-in-law, Johnny (Janette) Seeba of California, and numerous aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.  Nancy will be deeply missed. Visitation:    5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a 7 pm. prayer service and resumes one hour  prior to the service at the church.
