Nancy Bauman, 74, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, December 21, 2007, at the Homestead Pioneer Cottage. She was born February 1, 1933, in Lidgerwood, ND, the daughter of Henry and Annie (Olson) Bauman. In 1970, she moved to Fergus Falls and worked at Productive Alternatives. For much of the last decade she had been living at the Pioneer Apartments. In the summer of 2007, because of her health, she moved to the Cottages. Throughout the years she has enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, attending cooking and craft classes and bingo with friends. Highlights of her life have included her trips to Branson, Florida, and Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton. She has been especially fond of her goldfish, named Sunlight. She has in many times and ways shown her appreciation to those who have offered her kindness and care throughout her life. Survivors include many friends, co workers and caregivers. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Pioneer Home Chapel with Chaplain Harry Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Fergus Falls. Olson Funeral Home of Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
