Mylla Rae Nogowski, 64, a resident of rural Dalton, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She was born July 23, 1944, in Oakes, North Dakota, the daughter of Francis and Edna (Melz) Litchfield. She grew up in North Dakota, and attended Forman High School. On February 1, 1962, she married Robert Nogowski in Anoka, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple lived in Minneapolis. In 1990 they moved to the Dalton area. After their move she worked in the deli at More 4, and then worked in housekeeping at the Broen Memorial Home, retiring in 2008. She was a member of Aastad Lutheran Church. Mylla enjoyed ATV riding, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and her cats. Preceding her in death were her parents, Francis and Edna. Survivors include her husband, Bob, of rural Dalton; two daughters: Linda (Tim) Pendy of Champlin, and Ronda Romine (Dan Rademacher) of Brainerd; five grandchildren: Travis Romine, Jessie Romine, Callie Pendy, Jamie Pendy and Kelsey Rademacher; and a brother, Clayton Litchfield.
