Miranda Kay “Mandy” Bernard, 45, of rural Fergus Falls, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her home.
She was born October 7, 1967, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Brian Priebnow and Crystal Neuman. She attended school in Battle Lake, Minnesota.
Mandy worked over the years managing local cafes, bars, and restaurants. For the past several years she was employed as a certified personal care attendant.
She was a member on bowling and pool leagues around the area, the area saddle club, and was also involved with wildlife conservation, with a special interest in wolf protection.
Mandy loved caring for animals, and also enjoyed spending time on her computer.
Preceding her in death were her father, Brian, on December 1, 2012, and an uncle, Bill Neuman, on November 1, 2012.
Survivors include her mother, Crystal (Ben) Fontana of Fergus Falls; a brother, Jason (K-She) Bernard and their children Loren, Rainn, Lucian and Luna of Morton IL; several step-siblings in the Priebnow family; as well as several Neuman and Tryggeseth cousins in the Twin Cities area.
There will be a celebration of Mandy’s life at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the Dalton Community Center in Dalton, Minnesota. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
