Michelle (Wiese) Anderson, 24, a resident of Rochester, formerly of Battle Lake, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN as the result of a bicycle accident. She was born November 3, 1985, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN, the daughter of Gerald and Anita (Zoucha) Wiese. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Battle Lake, MN. Michelle graduated from Battle Lake High School in 2004. She then earned her AA Degree at M/State in Moorhead. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree at NDSU in Fargo, ND, in Respiratory Therapy. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Administration through Capella University. She was currently involved as a class developer and college instructor for Devry University and Apollo College for Respiratory Care. She was also currently employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester as a respiratory care practitioner. She was very proud to be a member of the Life Flight Transport Team. On July 15, 2006, Michelle was married to the love of her life, Eric Allen Anderson, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Fergus Falls. To this union a beautiful daughter, Makayla, was born on February 6, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Michelle was a very special person who touched the lives of many. She enjoyed every day and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed watching her husband’s baseball games, and spending precious time with her beautiful baby daughter, Makayla, taking her to the zoo, going for walks to the park, on shopping trips, reading books, and cuddle time. Michelle will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Eric, and daughter, Makayla, of Rochester; parents, Gerald and Anita (Zoucha) Wiese and brother, Jason Wiese, all of Battle Lake; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Mary Anderson of Fergus Falls; brothers-in-law, Rick (Monica) Anderson of Detroit Lakes, and Brian (Amy) Anderson of Fergus Falls; sister-in-law, Kim (Tim) Klinger of Fergus Falls; niece, Allysa, and nephews, Tristin, Jordan, and Ethan; grandmothers, Jenny Zoucha of Tintah, and May S. G. Wiese of Fergus Falls; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, Ben Zoucha, and Harold Wiese, her grandmother, Doris Wiese, and her uncles, Dwaine Wiese and Michael Wiese.
