Mary G. Sha, 94, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the Golden Living Center on Otter Tail Lake. She was born February 7, 1916, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of William and Sarah (Martin) Teberg. She was baptized in Duluth, Minnesota, and confirmed in Central Lutheran Church in rural Pelican Rapids. In 1935 she married Art Peterson at Central Lutheran Church, and they had four children. In 1951 she married Frank “Tom” Sha. They lived in rural Erhard and were members of Grace Lutheran Church until 1991, when they moved to Fergus Falls. She was a devoted mother to her family and her husband, Tom. Mary worked as a cook for the Fergus Falls School District #544 for 22 ½ years. Mary was always active in her church, and was currently a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. She was a member of the Elizabeth Merry Makers Homemakers for many years, and the Fergus Falls Senior Citizens. She loved to volunteer as well. Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Hattie Teberg; her husband, Tom Sha; three brothers, William Teberg Jr., Henry (Doris) Teberg, and Louis Teberg; three sisters, Minnie (Walter) Neulieb, Gert (Harold) Jaenisch and Dorothy Buso; and a grandson-in-law, Greg Johnson. Survivors include a son, Arthur (Arlene) Peterson of Enderlin, ND; three daughters: Donna (Tom) Miller of Fergus Falls, Margaret (Floyd Kearnes) Bjorgum of Underwood, and Jeanette (Bruce) Priebnow of Fergus Falls; five grandsons: Donald (Sherri) Peterson of Buffalo, ND, James (Sherry) Priebnow of Minneapolis, David and Adam Priebnow of Fergus Falls, and Tom (Diane) Bjorgum of Buffalo, MN; nine granddaughters: Barbara (Craig) Stangler of Enderlin, ND, Debbie (Tom) Wold of Fargo, Brenda (Mike) Leifeld of Hastings, MN, Christine (David) Hanzlick of Yankton, SD, Monica (Bill) Reinert of Dent, Mary Johnson of Fergus Falls, Anita (Cary) Aasness of Dalton, Wendy (Brett) Duenow of Fergus Falls, and Julie (Chris) Scott of Battle Lake; 36 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Teberg of Fergus Falls, MN; a sister, Hazel Evenson of Fergus Falls; two sisters-in-law, Olga and Pat Teberg of Erhard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
