Mary R. Fronning

Mary Rebecca Fronning, 73, a resident of Fergus Falls, died at her home on Monday August 21, 2017, under the care of LB Hospice.

She was born on April 11, 1944, in Springfield, MO, to James and Jessie (Kuhns) Alcorn. Mary attended Monnier Elementary School and MacKenzie High School, both in Detroit, MI.

On April 24, 1965, she was united in marriage to Dennis Fronning in Detroit, MI. Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing and tending to her plants and animals.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Jessie Hubbard of Des Plaines, IL, and her father, James Alcorn of Springfield, MO; and her step-father Leonard Hubbard of Des Plaines, IL.

Surviving her are her husband, Dennis of Fergus Falls; her children, Bryan Fronning of Lawrenceburg, TN, April Fronning of Lawrenceburg, TN, Gena (James Ritter) Fronning of Leonard, MI; her grandchildren, Aleysha Fronning of Warren, MI, Alizabith Fronning of Lawrenceburg, TN, Alivia Fronning of Lawrenceburg, TN, Gaven Fronning of Wichita, KS, Jesse Fronning of Leonard, MI, Brody Fronning of Leonard, MI, Angel Fronning of Leonard, MI; her sister Julia (Eddie) Culp of Lawrenceburg, TN; her sister-in-law Beverly Curtis of Amery, WI, her aunt Lorene Alcorn of Republic, MO, her uncles Kenneth and Cecil Alcorn both of Ohio, cousin Dave Drake of Tonto Basin, AZ, numerous nieces and nephews and her life-long friend, Sharyn Knight of Alpena, MI.
