Marilyn Alvina Ouren

Marilyn A. Ouren, 83, died Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Pioneer Pointe, Fergus Falls.
Marilyn was born July 1, 1936, in Gonvick, MN, to Melvin and Agnes (Espland) Clauson. She went to country school east of Erhard thru sixth grade and then attended school in Pelican Rapids, MN. Marilyn married LeRoy Ouren on August 4, 1956 in Erhard, MN at Bagstevold Church.
Marilyn worked at Anderson Grocery Store, Pelican Valley Nursing Home as a dietary aide and the Depot as a cook. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, sewing, playing cards and Bingo and spending time with her family and her church lady friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Agnes Clauson and a brother, Harvey Clauson.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy; children, Dean (Lana) of Fergus Falls, Debbie (Keith) Bergren of Pelican Rapids, Dennis (Lisa) of Pelican Rapids, Becky Kantrud of Fergus Falls and Brad (Lori) of Monument, CO; grandchildren, Courtney (Chuck) Larsen, Chelsey (Ryan) McGinnis, Carly (Steve) Haiby, Nicholas (Teena) Jessen, April Thorson (Jordan Arntson) Bryce Bergren, Brady Ouren, Jake Ouren, Ryan Kantrud, Katie (Ashley) Kantrud, Brandon Ouren, Rachel Ouren and many great-grandchildren.
