Marilyn Nagel, 71, of Minneapolis, formerly of Fergus Falls, died August 17, 2019, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.
Marilyn Kay Nagel was born October 26, 1947, to Frank and Amelia (Weinrich) Rowe of Ashby.
Marilyn worked at Country Kitchen for many years as a loved waitress. She ended her career as an advocate for women and children at Some Place Safe/Parenting Time. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and involved in various bible studies.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and reading, but most important to her was spending time with family and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Frank Rowe; mother, Amelia Anderson; step-father, Alfred Anderson; son, Matthew Rairdon; step-daughter, Sarah Rairdon; sister, Annette Aagren and brother-in-law, Wallace Aagren.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Barry of Fargo, ND, Susan Barry (Fernando) Martinéz of Edgar Springs, MO, Jeff Barry of Duluth, Julie Barry (Larry Barth) of Fergus Falls, Kristi Rairdon (Jay) Gimbel of Randleman, NC, Rebecca Nagel (Kyle) Sedam of Crystal; four step-children; 12 grandchildren with one on the way; seven great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, Fran (Elaine) Rowe, Robert (Judy) Rowe and Richard Rowe, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church
Service: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at the Church of the Nazarene, Fergus Falls
Interment: Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Fergus Falls, MN
