Marie Martha Oltman, 83, of Mandan, North Dakota, formerly of Fergus Falls, went to heaven on April 22, 2017.
Marie was born in Wolf Point, Montana, on May 11, 1933, to Charles Leroy and Gladys (Braaten) Baker. She attended Wolf Point High School.
On August 19, 1950, Marie married Carlton Oltman in Glendive, Montana, and was blessed with two children, Steven and Colleen. They lived most of their lives in the Wahpeton, North Dakota, area.
Marie worked as a cook at the country club and as a caretaker at the Boys Home in Breckenridge. She was a member of the Eagles. Marie was extremely talented in making quilts and making those around her feel loved and special.
Marie is survived by her children, Steven Oltman and Colleen Sire, both of Wahpeton, ND; Her sister Eileen Kessel, Mandan, North Dakota; Her grandchildren, Katy, (Nathan Fair) Sire, Paul (Mikel) Sire, Jason (Katie) Sire, Keith (Melissa) Sire, Carlton Oltman and Mitch (Meredith) Oltman; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Oltman; and her parents, Charles and Gladys Baker.
