Margret "Maggie" (Mrs. Donald) Nelson, 60, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at the Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Maggie was born February 1, 1947, in Graceville, the daughter of Andrew and Annie (Limberg) Gronfeld. She attended Graceville High School, graduating in 1965, then attended and graduated from Alexandria Technical College. She was employed as a Medical Lab Technician in the Wahpeton /Breckenridge area for forty years. On June 25, 1988, she married Don Nelson. She loved her dogs, Morgan, Pepper and Maddie, enjoyed gardening, flowers, birdwatching, walking, camping and traveling. She and Don traveled to numerous places throughout their lives. She was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Preceding her in death were her parents, as well as several aunts and uncles. Survivors include: her husband, Donald of Fergus Falls; stepdaughter, Christine (Jeff) Morley of Philadelphia, PA; stepson, Paul Nelson of Fergus Falls; sister, Donna (Ronald) Kuehl of Trimont, MN; brothers, Arnold Gronfeld and Allen (Sandy) Gronfeld all of Johnson, MN; an aunt, Henrietta Limberg of Marietta, MN; sisters-in-law, Donna (Truman) Thorsen, Carol (Richard) Thorsen, Sylvia (Merle) Ellingson and Sybil (Ray) Westerberg Jr. all of Fergus Falls; brothers-in-law, Gordon (Harriet) Nelson of Fergus Falls, Loren (Pat) Goese of Coon Rapids and Roger (Jane) Nelson of Fergus Falls; sisters-in-law, Karen Yost of Fergus Falls and Linda Nelson of Tucson, AZ; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her canine daughter, Maddie. Visitation: Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls Clergy: Reverends Curtis Deterding and Roger Lang Interment: Trinity-Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Fergus Falls Funeral Home: Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls Memorials are preferred to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund Condolences may be sent online at www.olsonfuneralhome.com
