Margie Louise (Ruud) Kilde Brush, 90, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Pioneer Cottages in Fergus Falls.
Margie was born August 1, 1930, the daughter of Harold and May (Swanson) Ruud. She grew up in the hills of Erhard, and would ski to and from school, weather permitting.
In 1948, she married Raymond Kilde. They resided in Fergus Falls, where they raised their four children.
Margie enjoyed a career in dry-cleaning and laundry and owned her own business for several years.
In 2000, she married Jack Brush. Margie enjoyed oil painting, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother always giving of her time and cares.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Raymond and Jack; son, Jeffrey (Colette) Kilde; great-grandchild, Treyton Engelhart; brother, Dennis Ruud; sisters, Harriet (Rueben) Nelson, Gladys (Lawrence) Nelson, and Nancy Ruud; son-in-law, Dewey Umlauf, and step-son, Roger Anderson.
Margie is survived by her children, Rae (Terry) Burns of Barrett, Sally (Timothy) Engelhart of Fergus Falls, and Brenda Umlauf of Wahpeton; stepdaughter, Jackie (Steve) Kukene of Boston, MA; step-daughter-in-law, Rita Anderson; grandchildren, Shawn (Sandy) Burns, Shannon (Shannon E.) Burns, Travis (Danette) Engelhart, Taylor (Janessa) Engelhart, Daniel (Lish) Roehl Jr., Melissa (Jarad) Hendrickx, and Ryon (Laurel) Kilde; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marlys (Donald) Holubok; sister-in-law, Janet Ruud, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no services planned at this time. A family burial will be held at a later date at the Bethlehem Cemetery, Fergus Falls.
