Margery M Rostad

Margery Rostad, 81, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.

She was born November 6, 1932, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of John and Edith (Weldon) Norgren. She grew up west of Elizabeth and at the age of nine, moved with her family to Dane Prairie Township. She attended school Districts #28 and #81 in Dane Prairie Township.

On May 27, 1950, she married Leonard Rostad, at the Augustan Lutheran Parsonage in Fergus Falls. They made their home in Fergus Falls, where she was a homemaker.

Margery was a former member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, embroidery, puzzles, baking bread and flower gardening.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, John Norgren and her husband Leonard, who died in January of 2012.

Survivors include her daughter, Sara (Wes) Skillings of Mullen, NE; her son Boyd Rostad of Fergus Falls; two grandchildren, Jason Skillings of Ennis, MT and Christine (Tyler) Erickson and their daughter, Nattlye of Montgomery, AL.
