Margaret Stein

Margaret Marie Stein (nee Finch), age 62, a resident of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and formerly of Hankinson, North Dakota, died on Sunday, January 17, 2010, in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. She was born in Oakes, North Dakota on August 17, 1947, to Kenneth and Helen (Quellman) Finch, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Hankinson High School in 1965. On July 8, 1967, she married Larry Stein. She was employed at Lincoln State Bank as a bank teller. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Marge enjoyed volunteering in church and at the local food shelf, quilting, motorcycling, walking, and spending time with family and friends. She had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and will be missed dearly by all. Marge is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Larry, of Fergus Falls; her son, Troy (Jocelyn) of St. Paul; her daughter, Jody (Jason) Amundson of Farmington; her grandchildren: Collin, Connor, Daniel, Leah and Mara; her brothers, Jerry (Jean) Finch of Brooklyn Center, and Roger (Pat) Finch of Moorhead; her sister, Susan (Perry) Ronning of Horace; and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation:  5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and resumes one hour prior to the service at the church.
