Marcus “Mark” John Ringquist, 58, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at his home, under the loving care of his wife, and the compassionate care of LB Hospice.
He was born on November 4, 1959, to Rodney Dale and Margaret Ilene (Marty) Ringquist. Mark grew up and attended school in Fergus Falls. He attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, and in his adult life, he was confirmed and became a member of Stavanger Lutheran Church.
On June 21, 1986, Mark married Connie Lynn Hanson at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
Mark was employed as a carpenter and mason for over 35 years in the Fergus Falls area. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors, especially his time spent biking with Connie, hunting, or fishing. Mark was proud of his sons, and enjoyed any opportunity to attend their sporting events to cheer them on.
Preceding him in death was his father, Rodney Dale Ringquist.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 31 years, Connie of Fergus Falls; three sons, DJ (Meghan), Jordan (Jasmine Hanson), and Dane Ringquist; grandson, Jack Clifford Ringquist; his mother, Marge Ringquist of Fergus Falls; and his brothers and sisters, Mike, Peggy, Mary, Marci, Marty, Marlys, Matt, Maureen, Monte, Mitch and their families; his mother-in-law, Darlene Sigurdson and brothers-in-law, Mark Hanson and Tom (Carrie) Hanson and their families.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls
Clergy: Chaplain Caleb Larson
Interment: A private family burial at a later date
