Lynn Clifford Stafford, age 87, of rural Fergus Falls, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015, at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.
He was born on February 22, 1928, to Earl C. and Margie M. (Ming) Stafford in Amidon, Slope County, ND. He attended grade school and graduated from New England High School in New England, ND. He was enlisted in the United States Army from 1950-1952.
On July 27, 1951, he married Marjorie June Stein in Fergus Falls. Three children were born to this union. Over the years he enjoyed farming and also worked for The Great Northern Railroad, General Supply and the United States Post Office.
Lynn was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. He enjoyed gardening and mowing lawn with his new riding lawn mower.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Margie; two sisters, Helen and Mavis; a brother, James; and a brother-in-law, Vern Bredenhoft.
Lynn is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Marjorie Stafford of Fergus Falls; two sons, Wayne (Margie) Stafford of Park City, UT, Keith (Cindy) Stafford of Fergus Falls and Kathryn (Richard) Pelto of Big Lake; five grandchildren, Jonathan Stafford of Washington, DC, Elissa (Ryan) Crain of Gainesville, GA, Zachary (Kayla) Stafford of Big Lake, MN, Ashley (Charles) Wojciechowski of Becker, and Kallie (Preston) Voigt of Lester Prarie; and five great-grandchildren, Finnley and Kendall Wojciechowski, Nash Voigt, Colt Stafford and Clara Crain.
