Lynn Allen Fronning, 70, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
He was born on October 31, 1947, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Nobel T. and Corinne (Tisdel) Fronning. Lynn grew up in Aastad Township, attending Country School District No.118, and graduated from Fergus High in 1965.
After school he went to work for Evavold Construction and later was with Strom Construction. More recently, he drove truck for several operations as well as helping out on the family farm. For many years Lynn served in the National Guard and was member of the Ashby American Legion. He has enjoyed fishing, deer, pheasant, duck and elk hunting along with telling stories.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Arvalee and Jean; a nephew, Brett Bergerson; as well as an infant niece and nephew.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Fronning of Richville; grandsons, Mason and William; two brothers, Loren and Dale both of Fergus Falls; his significant other, Lucinda Sharp of
Ashby; nephews, Steven Hieb and Paul Fronning; and nieces, Carolyn Hieb, Alyssa Mittag, Heidi Seefeldt, Susan Stratton and Karla Fronning
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017, at Aastad Lutheran Church, rural Fergus Falls

Interment: Aastad Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fergus Falls
