Lowell Larson

Lowell H. Larson, 73, a resident of Battle Lake, died Friday, June 08, 2007, at the Battle Lake Good Samaritan Center in Battle Lake. He was born April 7, 1934, in LeMars, Iowa, the only child of Herbert and Pearle (Kilzer) Larson. He grew up and attended school in LeMars, graduating with the class of 1952. On July 14, 1959, he was married to Eileen Stoltenow in Great Bend, North Dakota at the Zion United Methodist Church by Reverend Bechtle. Together they lived in rural Wahpeton from 1960 - 1986, when they moved to Blanche Lake near Battle Lake. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls and the Henning Senior Citizens. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, Eileen, of Battle Lake; a son, Lavel (Emily) Larson of Battle Lake; and two grandchildren: Raven and Maverick. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
