Lorenzo "Larry" Joseph Kidder, 92, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, December 20, 2007, at the Pioneer Retirement Community in Fergus Falls. He was born June 26, 1915, in Friberg Township of Otter Tail County, Minnesota, the son of Ernest and Louise (Harles) Kidder. He attended school District #115 and then worked four years at a Civilian Conservation Camp north of Deer River. On January 4, 1952, he married Evelyn Johnson, and her two children, Marlene and Allan were a part of their family. Their daughter, Barb, was born in 1955. The couple resided in Fergus Falls before moving to their Friberg Township farm. Larry worked for the Great Northern Railroad for 37 years. In 2005 they moved to the Village Cooperative in Fergus Falls. Larry was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and the Retired Railroad Employees. He enjoyed playing cards and outdoor activities of all kinds and traveling. Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Joseph "Joe" Kidder; and two sisters: Irene Sauer and Evelyn Lee; and a son, Michael. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; children: Barb (Floyd) Neuleib of Fergus Falls, Marlene (Ray) Fiedler of Wheaton and Allan Johnson of Bloomington; grandchildren: Craig (Linda) Fiedler, Lynn (Rick) Farr, Rick (Dori) Fiedler, Kim (Brian) Hankel, Jeffrey (Jeanne) Johnson, Michael (Kristi) Johnson, Katie (Troy) Tysdal, Jessica (Tim) Barney and Brett (fiance` Kari) Neuleib; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Cole, Victoria, Noah, Brooke, Dylan, Preston, Jacob, Caroline, and Wyatt; one sister, Lucille (Woodrow) Lee of Fergus Falls; and one brother, Stanley (Elaine) Kidder of rural Fergus Falls, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
